2. About SAHSOV
SAHSOV is a community organisation established to foster connection, cultural preservation, youth involvement, and community support for people connected to the Southern African Hindu community and broader community participants.

event fees may be non-refundable where costs have already been committed (for example venue bookings or catering)

6. Events, activities, and participation
By attending SAHSOV events or activities, you agree to:
behave respectfully toward all attendees, volunteers, and organisers
follow any safety instructions and venue rules
ensure children remain the responsibility of their parent/guardian unless explicitly stated otherwise for a supervised activity
not engage in harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or disruptive behaviour
SAHSOV may ask a person to leave an event if their behaviour is unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive. Serious matters may be escalated to venue security or authorities if required.
7. Volunteering
If you volunteer with SAHSOV:
you agree to follow directions from SAHSOV organisers for the role
you agree to act respectfully and maintain community trust
SAHSOV may decline or end volunteer participation at its discretion
8. Photos, videos, and media at events
SAHSOV may take photos or videos at events for community sharing and promotion (for example on the website or social media).
If you do not want to appear in photos or videos, please notify the organisers at the event or email namaste@sahsov.org.au. We will take reasonable steps to respect your request.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website (including text, branding, logos, graphics, and downloadable materials) is owned by SAHSOV or used with permission.
You may view and share SAHSOV content for personal and community purposes, but you must not reproduce or use it commercially without written permission.
